Stranger o’ the Week?

Posted by Mark in Mark's Sketchbook

More like I’m the stranger, right? This is all I’ve drawn this week, and I hated it, which is why you can’t see it. Nyeah.

X Marks The Dork

Just in case you’re wondering what I’m up to besides sketching: I’ve been teaching myself Final Cut Pro X, because our editing department will be switching to it this Summer. To get up to speed quickly, I’m piecing together the footage from my 2011 trip to Hong Kong.

A post-it sketch of some guy hoisting my award; he just happened to be on my computer monitor at work while I waited for some video to finish processing.

Anyway, why isn’t anyone calling me on my laziness? Look to your left, it’s part of The Deal! Do I have to discipline myself? Gah!

Corporate Snoozefest

Ah yes, another “too tired to think of anything to draw” post. My new job hasn’t been difficult so far, but the adaptation to new surroundings and meeting new people seems to be enough to make me power down after work. Sure, I’m still up at 11pm posting this, but trust me, if you put your ear against mine right now, you could hear the ocean.

Bits, Bytes, Evil Laughter

The good news is, my setup is coming together. The bad news is, after I installed my wifi card, I basically had to start the OS install from scratch.

Still easier than Windows on a good day.
